Summary: Ficlet. Yoochun worships Jaejoong at night.
Moonlight
By Omen-chan
Yoochun loved the night. The dark shadows mixed with the dim light, the feeling of being alone in the universe, and every sound amplified in ways that are impossible to hear in the light of day. He often chose to catch whatever scatterings of sleep he could during the day, rather than miss the world during the dark.
Soft gasps were buried into his shoulder and moonlight filtered in through the window to cast dyed brown hair into brilliancy. He could see pale skin glowing, accenting muscle and tone, and slid his hands over it as if trying to catch light or skin or memory.
Gripping the back of Jaejoong’s neck, Yoochun forced his face away from his shoulder, and stilled, watching that same play of light over plump lips and dark eyes. Those eyes… He couldn’t help but shudder, as he always did, over the way moonlight reflected upon them, like a pool in a cave, with a small hole above to let sunlight and sky pass through. A secret pool that no one ever could see, at a secret time when no one was awake.
A hand slid into Yoochun’s hair and tugged him down for a kiss, soft and barely-there, as if Jaejoong had been dreaming while awake too.
Hands again move over skin, leisurely and provocative, as if they had all the time in the world. They know they don’t, but at this secret time, this perfect bubble of a world of just themselves, they can believe it.
With time moving so slow, their movements felt speedy. Each movement of their hips a split second in this special time, where seconds are minutes and lives are nothing more than this – skin in the moonlight. And when they actually began to move quickly, they buried soft moans and gasps in hands or shoulders or lips.
When he came, Yoochun braced himself on one hand and buried the other in Jaejoong’s hair, as if trying to catch that special time, light, and space right there between his fingertips. To make it last forever this time.
It never did, but he didn’t care. The moment never lasted forever, but this did. Jaejoong, in the moonlight, with eyes that are pools in the dark looking at him.
Yoochun loved the night. He would rather miss sleep forever than miss this.
