1. Please try to use correct grammar and spelling. I don't expect you to be perfect, I just ask that you be legible.
2. Comment. I understand you may not be online every single day, hanging off of my every post (XD), but it is nice to know that you're paying attention, and remember who I am. It's always embarrassing when you get someone that's never commented before, and have to sit there for several minutes trying to think of a polite way to say "And who are you?"
3. Try to be friendly, both to me and my friends. They're friended for a reason and I don't want to hear anything bad about them. If you have a problem with someone, settle it in your own journal and leave mine alone.
